East Carolina Sailing is now offering ASA Cruising Classes out of Pungo Creek Marina near Belhaven, NC which gives us a more central location to destinations around the Pamlico Sound.  We look forward to the stronger winds and various routes up and down the Pungo River and the sounds of North Carolina. East Carolina Sailing School (ECSS) in Washington, NC, has achieved certification from the US Sailing Association.  This accomplishment makes ECSS the only school in North Carolina, and one of the few schools in the country, to be certified by both the American Sailing Association and the US Sailing Association.

It’s back to school and work time so we have added a little twist to our schedule this fall and are offering weekend only classes. Each class will Start on Saturday and run on consecutive weekends so you don’t have to take time off work or school. We’ll start offering those classes in October...
