Location

East Carolina Sailing School is based in Washington, NC adjacent to the Hwy 17 bridge and at the mouth of the Pamlico River.

“Little” Washington, also known as the “Heart of the Inner Banks”, is just an hour and a half east of Raleigh at the junction of Hwy. 264 and Hwy. 17.   Washington has a rich nautical heritage and is the “Heart and Soul” of sailing in North Carolina.  Washington’s Harbor District has many colorful shops, restaurants, art galleries and The North Carolina Estuarium for the entire family to enjoy.  Plan your class around our monthly Music in the Streets events or one of our many festivals held on the waterfront all summer long.

We also offer classes in Bath, Beaufort and Ocracoke periodically throughout the season.
